|Raju & I
|Raju & I is a 30 minute animated film developed by my friends at Animagic for Aseema, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that works for street children in India.
I have been waiting and watching from the sidelines ever since the project began. Gayatri Rao, the director of Raju & I, has had me entranced and riveted with updates on the 'happenings' as the film developed. And what a roller-coaster ride it has been! Worth every second!!
Kudos to the Animagic Team for winning the Grand Jury Prize for Animation at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival held in November, 2003.
Raju & I left a trail of awards and nominations in India, too:
Hey there! I am a small business strategist and entrepreneur. My food blog, Indian Food Rocks, is about my personal journey through life, spiced by eclectic Indian food and entertaining anecdotes. Apart from cruising the global kitchen, some of my obsessions include gazing at the Rockies, sneaking away on invigorating hikes, wielding my camera, knitting and crocheting, and dabbling in the concept of Voluntary Simplicity. I am also immersed in the challenge of raising a child while straddling two divergent cultures.
